I wanted to share with you a common trap I find busy gym owners falling into, where on Instagram or YouTube, we get caught up in looking for new ways to optimize our routine. So we’ll see a Tim Ferriss wake up at 3 a.m. and meditate, and then go for a cold plunge, and then hit a journal or something like that.
And whilst optimisation sort of makes sense, in many cases, it’s actually adding more things to our to-do list.
Watch the video to find out more:
One of the things that Warren Buffett talks about that the most successful businesses have is their ability to focus. So instead of adding more things to their to-do list, they’re actually subtracting. They’re actually removing things so they can put more time, energy, and focus on the things that matter. Whether that’s sales, whether it’s lead generation, whether it’s staff development.
So I want to encourage you to turn off your Instagram or YouTube, forget about Tim Ferriss, and think about what’s the thing that’ll actually move your fitness business forward this week, and forget all the rubbish stuff. A thousand ice baths aren’t gonna do anything for growing your business.
